Updated: Insight into Makeup Effects with Mark Shostrom

A long-time and close friend of mine, Mark Shostrom is a very talented makeup effects designer and sculptor. His craftsmanship and imagination are just a tiny portion of Mark’s significant gifts, and these days Mark is busy sharing his knowledge of makeup with students at The Makeup Designory in Burbank, CA.
Fans of visual effects makeup, and movies like the Phantasm and A Nightmare on Elm Street movie series and his biggest claim to fame, Evil Dead 2 should check this interview out!

For fans of Evil Dead 2, I have included a piece from an episode of The Incredibly Strange Film Show. It’s ten minutes of great material for Evil Dead fans (including an incredibly cheesy-looking Bruce Campbell), and even if the host screws up the pronunciation of his name, Mark shares a tidbit or two about Henrietta.
I doubt that even Mark has seen this footage in quite some time. . .
Enjoy!
